The Power of Referrals and Positive Reviews

Feedback, in any form, is a gift because it presents an opportunity to see a business from the customer’s point of view. It also allows engagement on a deeper level and continually improve the customer experience, which leads to repeat business and referrals for me. Also, it’s clear that social media strongly influences customer decisions.

Research firm Dimensional Research found that 90 percent of consumers who recalled reading online reviews on sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor claimed that positive reviews influenced their decision to buy. As if that isn’t enough incentive, another survey recently found that 88 percent of people trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

Online reviews - When customers have a remarkable experience that goes above and beyond the status quo, they’ll be inclined to tell their friends about it online — often without being prompted. Review sites such as Zillow or Yelp would be the perfect places for your reviews. You can also send me a testimonial that I can place on my website.

Referrals - Just as online reviews are a vital source of new customers, equally powerful are referrals from existing customers. With referrals, you are willing to introduce your family and friends to me because of your positive experience. I really appreciate any reviews and/or referrals.
